HPS Reputation

Hi All,

I'm new to the credit investing space and I came across an opportunity at HPS in NY. The role is for an Associate in their Mezzanine Fund.

What is the firm's general reputation in the market? If you can give some color on their Mezzanine group that would be very helpful as well.

Thank you for your help! I really appreciate it.

F1, shame nobody has responded. Maybe one of these topics will help:

Worked with them a ton on hairy sponsor deals and love their DL team. Very astute investors who, out of all the other large shops, really get into the nitty diligence with the PE guys to understand the opportunity at a deeper level. Talked to one of their MDs earlier in 2019 who mentioned they had raised one of the largest mezzanine funds to date so it's not surprise that they're looking to hire there specifically. Even outside of my praise, they are generally very well-regarded in the market
