Impact Investing / Non-Profit / Not-for-Profit

hi everyone, as the title suggests, i'm curious whether compensation in general for these type of gigs in the investment space is generally paid less than your typical investment roles (all else equal say at an similar sized shop). not talking about MFs or UMM, but say all else equal at a couple $bn fund that does impact investing, vs your traditional PE, would the former be much less in comp since there likely is a bigger emphasis on being better for the environment?

Non-profit and not-for-profit I think that's generally the case given they don't care much about making money as a generalization, but I think comp ranges I've seen are significantly less but want to see what others have seen
