Insane Work Habits
Did anyone else pick up incredibly bad work habits during COVID, etc. I'm at the point that I procrastinate during the day and then pull incredibly productive all-nighters to get anything of substance done? I've talked to my VPs about it and they think its weird but don't care as long as the work is done on time and is quality/95% mistake free (which it is).
Anyone facing similar issues?
I’ve been this way my whole life. My only tip is either fix it or embrace it - by embrace it, I mean don’t spend all day feeling bad about not doing work every single day if you’re just never going to change. At least you’ll enjoy your days
1000%. If I’m at home, I’ll just lay down or watch TV or whatever and let things build up to a point where I have to get back to my desk. If I were in the office, I would just be tackling these as they came through and would probably be saving myself some unnecessary late nights.
haha problem is i'm 5 days in the office. all the partners look over at my desk while im browsing twitter / espn / etc. no one's commented yet and im not sure they will if i keep getting stuff done, but still a little awkward
