Correct. Driven by team dynamics, ability to keep core people, etc. Also, Keensight hasn’t really succeeded in getting enough deals outside of France.

I heard latest funds' performance is not great and they had a ton of churn at senior level.. will be difficult to fundraise after that

Bottom third returns if I’m not mistaken. Large exodus of mid levels recently.
What went wrong? Overpaid for stuff?
How did this place go from well recognised, good performing to seeing a lot of mid levels leave? Do you have intel?
You can always make up your marks. Also, though to keep up performance when you are constantly scaling as they did.
Would recommend staying away from most French PE firms - very political, very bureaucratic, and quite discriminatory against you if you aren't French. ARCHIMED is another group I'd avoid like the plague.
I would go one step further: stay away from French people - hon hon hon
