London: How does the buyside view GS/MS/JPM regional offices?

I was wondering how PEs in London view candidates coming from a regional office at GS/MS/JPM. I mean like a solid office, with a team which is similar in size to a single industry team both in annual budget and headcount. Any insights are appreciated, thank you!

Experience-wise they will put it on par with London based teams, however, you'd be at an sizable disadvantage from a recruiting perspective because (1) the candidate pool is large enough in London to not having to look abroad, (2) visa sponsorship is a hard to get these days, and (3) organizing travel arrangements for interviews is an additional headache compared to other candidates that can come in fairly quickly
