Looking PE Recruiting advice not found online (Ironic)

I recently accepted a role as an IB M&A analyst at a boutique tech firm directly out of undergrad. I was researching PE and career planning and stumbled upon the fact that 2025 megafund recruiting will probably start relatively close to me hitting the desk. Curious if anyone had any insight as to their process timeline and how to utilize my time best to prepare. I'm worried about balancing work and also trying to network, learning the necessary modeling skills, and prepping for any case studies.  Any guidance is greatly appreciated!
