Norvestor - Insights

Anyone familiar with Norvestor? Saw that they closed their Fund X at 2bn in just 3 months. Solid step up vs. 1.5bn in the previous vintage.

Seem to be strong in the Nordics, do lots of small buy & build and a surprisingly high amount of exits through IPO considering the mid market profile.

Some of the older funds had very long hold periods (like 7-10 yrs across many assets) but that apparently has changed.

Curious to learn more about culture, comp and returns for vp / im and above!

I worked at an LP for a while and Norvestor was one of the funds we were invested with. This is a long time ago, so I don't have very current views, but basically they were considered some of the sharpest guys in the Nordics in the MM

Additionally, and this might matter to y'all young whippersnappers, they had a reputation for party animals and cowboys in the Nordic region. Of course, this is not South America where this means wild stuff, but they were known to have cool parties, Nordic popstars hired to sing, etc.
