NYC -> London

Curious whether anyone has any insights here.
What things would you look at to justify going from NYC to London?
How would you go about doing this? Are there specific entry-points? Say after business school or after Aso 2?
What are visa/taxes like? Say you’re an American, will it be difficult to get work permits and will the global tax wreck you?
