Original Issue Price
I have a quick question I am slightly confused about in a cap table. Does original issue price mean anything for valuation? Or is it just a quick metric on how much is getting raised in the round. I am confused because I see an investment that has original issue prices that are the same in each round but the valuation of each round goes up significantly?
Am I missing something or am I misinterpreting/using irrelevant data?
