PE Recruiting: GPA Concerns

Hi all,

If I recruit on-clycle, will a 3.5 or 3.6 GPA (target school, easy major) harm me that much if I'm above-average technically and a decent interviewer? Appreciate any color you can add to the process.

Heard that taking the GMAT/GRE can provide extra color academically as well as having strong standardized test scores.

It's a sliding scale... target school will get you into some interviews with a bit of leniency on GPA, but some places will take a 3.7 instead. There's no yes or no answer... you will miss out on some interviews with a lower GPA but no one can say how many. Don't focus on it. You will still get interviews and no one have time to interview everywhere during oncycle anyway. At the end of the day your group matters much more
