Always 1 page
Ok, but that means every other industry in these geos expects 2-page CVs, vs. 1-page for the US. Just so I understand: are you extrapolating from what you know from the US, or is this based on first-hand knowledge of the European standards in those geos?
Whenever I hear back from North Americans, I hear "always 1-page" -- but I'm not confident that's based on understanding how the rest of the world works. So just let me know where you're coming from so I can weight it appropriately.
I'm aware.
I actually worked in PE/VC in one of the latter two geos you've mentioned and while 2 page CVs were not instantly discarded, preference was given to one page CVs. So unless you've really got a lot of relevant experience that directly contributes to your candidacy, I would do my best to limit yourself to one page.
Definitely one page for the UK.
Baller. Thanks guys!
Hi, hoping I get a reply. I was wondering if I should inculde my current part-time barista job on my CV. I already have a lot of other finance related stuff on my cv which is quite enough to fill the page. I was just wondering if I should include the part-time job simply because I am currently employed there. Pls help!
