Should I take the GMAT to replace my SAT/ACT

Going into a decent group that occasionally places MF and usually places very well into MM/UMM. A lot of the analysts in my group tend to have 35 ACT + / 2300 SAT+. I go to a top 15 UG and am looking at getting around a 3.7 rounded and have a 2150 SAT/ 33 ACT. I want to place at UMM/MF, so would I be spending my time wisely if I were to study for the GMAT to get a 760 and then prepping for pe in my month before work?

If the sole reason you're taking the GMAT is for PE recruiting I would say it's probably not worth it. T-15 UG with a 3.7 and a good group should be fine. However, if you're thinking about BSchool at all I would highly recommend you take the GMAT before you hit the desk. Score is good for 5 years and I promise you it will not be fun trying to study for GMAT while in IB or PE. My advice is knock it out of the way now while you have the time. Added benefit is if you get 750+ it will help for PE recruiting, but don't let that be the only reason you take it.
