Side hustles for IB/PE

I know the IB/PE career track sets you up for long-term wealth. I want to hedge my bets and have an additional stream of income - something for pocket change or ideally something that could scale. What are reasonable side-projects or something that gives me a more immediate income boost?

Any success stories or roadmaps to follow?

Any ways to leverage finance knowledge that puts us at a competitive advantage to others?

The issue is that any side hustle will require quite a bit of work, and it's hard to do that type of work from 8:14p-8:43pm when you are randomly free

I think real estate / Airbnb is a reasonable one but if you're in IB/PE you absolutely need to have a management company who takes care of everything for you (for a big fee). Can't exactly run over and fix something with this career.

Also, all side hustles have to be approved through your bank as an outside business activity - pretty much anything finance-related will not be allowed

1. Your contract may restrict outside work, especially if it's similar to work being performed for your employer.

2. More importantly, you should be making quite a bit, and have limited free time. Why do you want to exacerbate that by picking up a side gig? Most people would trade some of the extra money for more time, not the opposite.
