Has anyone been able to or had the discussion around starting a year early at the PE fund you signed with?
Signed an offer on-cycle and am beginning my 2nd year at current firm. I'd really like to start early at my PE shop for several reasons: current team doesn't have the best deal flow, want to be closer to family, etc. Is it a bad idea to try doing this in a WFH environment? Has anyone successfully done it?
