My understanding is it’s pretty good but much more of a commission model than traditional PE. So if you source a deal or two you get a really really great year and just average but still good comp if you don’t. Don’t actually know the hard numbers these days though.
Can confirm I've heard the exact same from two folks I know there. If you successfully source you'll have a crazy knockout year but otherwise average.
What do you mean by average without the sourcing? 300k?
Whats the range? Avg around 300k vs knockout year around 450k?
Comp does not follow a "commission" model for associates, it’s very close to traditional pe aso comp structure. But yes, if you source something big who knows how big that aspect of comp can get.
I was told that all associates get a bonus when one associate brings in a deal to foster collaboration

Incoming associate I know was guided to ~300 all in 1st year. Boston based and not sure what ramp looks like
Does each industry group pay differently?
No.
incl. or excl sign on?

Ive heard GBP170 London Associate 1
That would likely be around correct.
Bonus might be linked to sourcing KPIs…
GBP 170k all in? This seems very low
any insights into vp and principal comp? curious about the ramp, is it around $400k for vp all in cash?
I would imagine it has to be much higher than 400k all in…
I think it is ~£500k all in for London but could be skewed with sourcing metrics
