The Vistria Group - 2024 Updates
Wanted to hear the latest updates on The Vistria Group, specifically their flagship buyout fund, regarding recent returns, comp, culture, upward mobility, and exits.
From what I've heard, they've been extremely successful historically with 5 fund raises in the past 10 years, more or less doubling their fund sizes each time, and have done a few deals that were absolute home runs. How are things looking for them in 2024 and beyond? Would it be a good place to stay for the long term given the strong growth trajectory?

Are they struggling to fundraise recently? Don't see a lot of exits and platforms recently but did notice a lot of senior hires. One new Partner in HC and education and one promotion to partner in education. Does that mean that Mgmt. is confident of the future?
