not for me. i just found out thats what my firm offered a post mba. just crazy that some ASOs at megafunds like hellman and thoma will make more as a first year ASO than a first VP at a MM fund
I wouldn't consider $450MM to be MM though. That's LMM. So you're comparing pockets of capital between 5B+ vs 500MM. MM feels more like 1-2B+.
Might be semantics to you and I but it's meaningful when it comes to comp since a lot of funds will purchase market research and "benchmark" comp vs comparably-sized funds
310 all-in and 200 bps seems extremely fair to me for a T2 LMM fund.
