What firms not HQ'd in NYC allow people to work from NYC?
It seems like there are more Boston/San Fran HQd firms opening up small satellite offices in NYC for IB analysts moving to PE for their ASO years who don't want to leave NYC because firms don't want to lose out on talent just do to geographical reasons. I know GTCR now has a NYC office, Advent allows associates to work/live in NYC, etc.
Any other UMM and up firms who lowkey allow associates to live/work in NYC even if they may have a small office or no office at all?
Can't speak to Advent but don't think this has anything to do with Associate talent. Can't impress upon you enough how little of a shit these people care about Associates. I know GTCR opened up their NYC office because they needed boots on the ground for their Fintech group there.
