What funds hire the most diversity candidates?
I’m Latino. What’s the best diversity approach to PE recruiting? It seems MF look for more diversity than UMM and MM funds. Maybe it’s because of the institutional client LP investor base? Anyway. Any insight on how to “leverage” diversity would be appreciated
the funds I have seen in the bay area were pretty diverse. quite a few of them even founded/managed by minority founders. They even have more female-founded funds now.
MF and UMM funds are generally more receptive to it/have more of a push from LPs and other forces to hire more diversity candidates. I have found MM funds to be more homogeneous.
KKR analyst program lol
trust me that’s not the reason why you didn’t / won’t get a job there :)
sure, it's still KKR so everyone's "qualified"
Just look at the funds with the lowest returns, they should have the highest degree of unmeritocratic hiring you’re referencing.
Ah yes, hiring the white summa cum laude from harvard will lead to upper quartile returns but hiring the hispanic one is a path to the bottom.
