Quick background on my experience... I spent a few years right out of college working for a Commercial General Contractor, made a switch and now work for a Real Estate Developer as a Project Manager. I will be starting on my MBA this fall at Rice (weekend program). I would appreciate some insight on the REPE industry and how to best position myself to make the transition from PM to REPE. I realize this is a pretty substantial switch, but I think I can utilize my early experience and MBA to make some moves within the RE industry and work towards a REPE position. Thoughts?
