Hello monkeys, some background on me is I'm an Analyst on the Acquisitions side of a MF. Would like to know if it's possible to lateral as an Analyst to another MF or if the only way is to do so is through Associate recruiting.
Any recommendations/experience on feasibility or timeline would be awesome.

Im on a MF REPE analyst programme too - why is it you are thinking of moving?
To answer your question though, it would probably be easier at the analyst level at my firm. We barely hire at the associate / sr. associate level and have a preference for coaching up people through the ranks.
