Bad etiquette to send emails after midnight?
Thoughts on the above. Would you instead schedule for the next morning? I personally would rather send at 2-3am as I finish drafting and fire off so I don’t have to worry about it in the morning. We have emails come in up until around midnight or so but usually not after that.
You can always do a scheduled send for the morning if you are worried, but I think sending emails late isnt an issue
I don't think it's an issue if they are sending you one late as well. I also sometimes do a scheduled send in the morning like 8am so they get it first thing.
Yea, it's bad etiquette if you're at a lifeco
I only send emails between the hours of midnight and 5am
Sincerely,

Generally, I schedule them to go out first thing in the morning on the super rare occasion I’m working late. However, I worked at a pretty toxic firm once that actually got mad at me for not sending enough emails passed midnight, which meant I wasn’t “working hard enough.”
I'd just schedule unless someone is going to be reviewing (that will allow you to get some sleep and read what you wrote/did before you send too, which... helps).
I do this a lot - write the email at night, but send in the AM to re-read it one more time.
I have coworkers who deliberately send shit late like that just to appear to be workaholics. It's annoying and pointless.
If it's an urgent email, doesn't matter when you send it, as long as it's ASAP. Otherwise, why bother and simply schedule for 8am send
