Barclays has an equity arm?
I was just browsing CoStar and came across “Barclays Capital” which seems to be associated with Barclays the bank. Seems like they have some JVs in all asset classes and what not and not just purchasing RE on behalf of the bank for operational/Corp RE purposes.
Do they have funds? Does anyone know anything about them? Just curious and found it interesting as the only banks with RE equity teams I think of is JP, MS, GS, UBS, PNC.
