Best RE IB Shops in NYC?

Heard JPM CRE was good, May not be IB but can lead to similar exit opps

Source: friend who works there and was also offered a position on their IB and CRE teams

1. BAML REIB group is the best group to be in if you’re 100% sure you want to lateral to RE PE. Places better than other banks surprisingly (only RE though)

1. MS/GS REIB are close 2nd. They also have a private equity group within the banks which is their PE arm. GS is GSAM and MS is MSREI. They are very well respected and definitely good looks if you’re interested in real estate. Hard to get in too since I think they take 5 interns per year.
