Anybody work in, or with, Florida development/real estate specific to Tampa? Working on a side project and was curious to get some expertise or insight into certain permitting and zoning. Couple questions related to bars and restaurants and alcoholic beverage permits. I've done some research basic research and have a good understanding of the process and certain parameters but if anyone can share personal experience to this that would be great.

Analyst at a multi brokerage here. Don't know too much about permitting/zoning stuff, but I can help with market research.
Can't get into the legal nuances of the zoning, but from my experience owner retail across the country, Tampa is very lax when it comes to alcohol permits. Not often you see strip centers with everyone from casual burger chains to sit-down dinner joints all with liquor licenses at the same neighborhood center...
