Keep the day job doing RE investment for an institutional group. I can't justify the opportunity cost of quitting but if I can't network to development, this would be plan B.
I worked about 20 hrs a week during my MSF. It's doable.
Did you do CFA or take finance classes before? If you've already seen/covered material, I imagine it's much easier to fit in extra things.
