Dress Code for Office Visit?
I’m a sophomore in college. Visiting a JLL/CBRE office in FL tomorrow, director invited me for the day. Was thinking suit pants and dress shirt/shoes. Should I do jacket and tie as well or is that too formal?

Career Resources
go for a suit jacket / sport coat. No tie, undo buttons on shirt.
Thanks!
Is this a joke? Sounds like you’d be dressing like a total douche. I really don’t think you can go wrong with dress shoes, pants, and shirt…
For CBRE/JLL?
You want a jacket. The worst thing that happens if you wear one and the interviewer isn't, and you feel weird, is you take it off. But if you show up without one and it's a more formal office (like plenty of brokerages are), you risk looking like a dweeb.
The cost/benefit is clearly skewed one direction.
I see. Valid point.
Still don’t understand the unbuttoned part tho.
Pretty sure he meant no tie, top button unbuttoned. Not like a full unbuttoned shirt…
Simple sport coat (no adventurous patterns) with a solid blue or white shirt and "normal" pants (not suit pants.. think chinos), loafers.
wear a tuxedo if you want the role
