Dynamic IRR - Modeling
Here is the scenario I want to create a dynamic IRR box - So basically if I change the IRR in the box it will tell me what amount I have to pay in Year 5 (disposition year)
Is this possible?
Yes.
It's called a floating array.
But It's honestly just easier to have a line below the irr with white text with an If statement. If cash flow hold year then "copy" down, if false, "".
If(Year=5,NCF,"") Then have the IRR pull from this new line
