I heard that it is probably one of the most toxic working environments. Exit seems pretty solid - Apollo, Angelo Gordon and the likes. Regarding compensation - I think they pay pretty well. I was reached out by recruiters a year or two ago and they were offering 120k + 100% bonus for associate one. I assume that the base has increased since then.

That place has a good reputation, raising >£1.0bn closed-end funds so one of the biggest "independents" European PERE shops with Aermont and Orion.

However, very strong former Goldman IB culture due to the firm's leadership. As such WLB and average tenure is not the best.

I heard that they were prepareing 100+ page lender memos.
