HFF NYC office
Does anyone here know the typical hours and culture for HFF NYC office from a general standpoint? I guess it may vary from team to team focus but just curious.

busy shop - dont expect a 9-5
Definitely figured that.
Just want to get a sense whether it’s like a 9-9 typical 60hr limited weekend hours vs IB type hours.
If you're an analyst for them, you'll probably be pushing 70 hours. Can't tell you how many times we've received packages from them at 1AM on Friday night/Saturday morning or even random times on the weekend.
Is 70hrs the norm or mainly when try to close deals?
The ABC's of selling dictate that it's fairly normal. Just depends on volume of deal flow and how many analysts are in the pool pushing out the packages.
If your at a good shop (Which HFF is), then they should always be closing deals.
I would expect 65-70 hr weeks at the busiest. However, with JLL buying them (their cultures are very different) you can expect the same work hours, but the dynamics may be different.
