Hotel + Co-working/Co-living Operator Investment Team Exit Opps

Hi Guys

Hope all is well.

Does anyone have any insight as to what the exit opps could be for one who works in the investment team of either a hotel, co-working or co-living operator? i.e., renting out hotels, offices or co-living schemes and then subleasing to tenants.

Would one be able to move into a traditional RE investment role where you purchase and then eventually sell the asset or would the differences in modelling a lease compared to a purchase be too different?

Asking as I have been offered a job which runs such a model, but would not want to be unable to move back to the traditional purchase and exit
