How much value do you place on mentorship

Currently underpaid at my firm by a long shot, but have a great mentor. Think I’m about 20-30% below where I should be on comp. What level of lower comp would you accept for the mentorship gained? Currently in a few hiring processes and not sure where my head is at.

Depends on your YOE. Fresh out of undergrad, I'd take the 20% pay cut for the experience gained from working with a great mentor.

Once you're hitting about 2 years out of school, then you should bring it up with them and gauge their response. If they find you valuable and you can provide evidence of another firm's comp offer/market rate compensation, I'd expect them to match it. If not, I'd be looking for other opportunities unless you're getting great co-invest/promote opportunities.
