Anyone have any direct/indirect experience with Westbrook Partners? Would very much appreciate any insights on deal flow, culture, strategy etc. and their website is not too informational.
Last post about them was from 2016 so was hoping for a bit more up-to-date info!
Worked loosely with them in the past when in IS. Smart shop. Get the sense it was a bit sweaty (the guy I interacted with had bags like I've never seen). Pay is probably pretty good considering the types of deals they work on.

Extremely lean firm. Asset level deals, main food groups (mostly office). Regional approach with offices in NY, DC, Boston, SF, & LA. Typically hire analysts/associates with a few years experience.

Yes, met someone who worked / works there. Recommend you reach out to former employees before signing - they can give you a more clear picture of if working there was worth it for the career advancement.
How did you get the interview?
Have you moved forward with them? I had a few interviews with them (albeit London office) and everything has been pretty straightforward, except for a few brainteasers. I'm kind of confused so far and not sure when I should expect more technical stuff..
They also have a WPB office - I was being recruited there in the fall. Agree with above posters.
They picked up a deal that we were exiting - I got the sense that they were a great shop. Simultaneously had the mindset of an operator who knew how to execute and a big-money LP. The founder, Kaz, is the definition of a BSD. I would def work there.
Just curious, what makes you say Kaz is a BSD?

Great place to learn for a few years. A good amount of turnover at the junior ranks, but also a fair amount who stayed around.
