Expect to read a lot of reading through leases for specific information (e.g., debt covenants, exclusive uses, etc.), market research (e.g., construction pipeline, competitive set rents, notable leasing volume, sitting on calls with brokers), quarterly/annual modeling updates, literally anything.
The shittier the asset class, the more hands-on you have to be. Industrial asset management is mostly chill but multifamily is more hands-on since you're setting rents weekly.
