Investment Sales Analyst Progression

Hi everyone,

I'm starting a full time job as an IS analyst out of college this Summer. Had my mind set on the role and am excited to get started. I hear a lot about how helpful it is to start as an analyst and the exit opportunities but don't see much about people's career progressions on this forum.

If you began your career as an analyst, I'd love to hear about the path you took, whether that was pivoting to buy side, senior analyst, or becoming a broker. If you can talk a bit about the rationale, pros and cons to the choices you made, and changes in experiences, that would be great.
