For those of you who work in GSE lending particularly with Fannie Mae Loans, you must know that the spread quoted to the borrower consists of Guaranty & Service fees (also known as credit fees which comes from Fannie Mae) plus the Investor spread which comes from the DUS shop. Do you know what the investor spread is? Where does that come from, is it's say 100 bps, what exactly does that mean? Thank you!
