Marcus and Millichap Financial Analyst Role Questions

Hi Everyone,

Long-time lurker, first time poster here. I'm currently an intern at one of the large brokerages (CBRE/JLL/CW) on an appraisals team. I'm graduating from college in August, and I've been looking for and applying to entry level roles mainly hoping to move into IS and D/E brokerage at the analyst level.

I came across a job listing for a Financial Analyst for an M&M Investment Sales team that I now have an interview set up for. I know M&M does not have the best reputation in the industry and is known to be a sweatshop of cold-calling, but I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on a Financial Analyst role. Specifically,

1) Assuming this role is not the usual cold-calling 100% commission job, would the experience be beneficial and help lateral to a larger brokerage (CBRE/JLL/CW) IS team in a year or so?

2) Does simply having Marcus and Millichap on your resume look bad to future employers and industry professionals?

3) What do you think is necessary to clarify in the interview that would make you consider this role?

Thanks for any help!
