MS - Real Estate

I have four years experience in Big 4 Accounting focused on real estate - I'm looking to make the jump to real estate development/acquisitions. I'm looking at NYU and Columbia for Masters in Real Estate Development.

Does anyone know what the recruiting is like from these programs? What is the structure of recruiting in these programs like? I assume firms come on campus - who are the big names? I've done a LinkedIn search of past graduates and they seem to have pretty crappy jobs. Can anyone provide first hand experience(s) or some insight here? I wouldn't want to leave my job in Big 4 for a crappy development job - I would for a mid / big REIT though.
