I think you’ll be perfectly fine. I am applying to said programs with a 3.0 GPA and 4 years of CRE experience. Based on my conversations, MSRE/D progs are starting to shy away from accepting GMAT/GRE. Harvard MRE even has a waiver. Some schools flat out state that they won’t even look at your scores and will not take your scores into consideration.
PM me if you’d like to connect more about MSRE progs as I am sure we will be applying to same locations.
Yup, I was kind of surprised to see that many of them have waivers. I believe USC and MIT are the notable ones I’ve noticed that don’t offer one.
I’ve heard that USC will provide waivers.
This has to be pretty recent, as I remember specifically USC requiring a test score.
Moreover, it looks like they're doing away with the requirement entirely:
"Price has discontinued the GRE/GMAT requirement for admissions review. Applications will be reviewed holistically"
Did you take gmat/gre?
No. Flat out didn't have time as I was working 65+ hours per week at the time. It's slowed down a bit now.
Were you accepted with the lower gpa and 4 yrs experience?
Helps a lot with getting scholarship money I think, I submitted scores for MSREDs and got some cash out of it. I had a lower GPA so that's the only reasoning on why I got paid.
