I've heard TREC is very prominent within the industry in DFW.
From my experience, TREC is usually made up of very broker and city government heavy events. Some developers like KDC will have a table there. Not saying that this is a bad thing, however, if your aim is buyside, ULI, Nareit, and NAIOP will serve you better.
Is ULI worth the 200 membership fee in your opinion? Also I haven’t heard of nareit, thanks for the heads up.
Your company may comp your membership. I would start there. If not, I would say it's definitely worth it and they might offer student discounts too.
I second this. ULI is very worth it. There is actually going to be a young leaders group happy hour on the 29th which non- members can attend for an additional fee.
