Next step in loan asset management?

Currently about 5 months into my senior analyst debt AM job which I've actually enjoyed so far. Only problem is my base is only $75K. I have enjoyed so far. I feel like I will be ready for a bigger challenge after a year. Will be I eligible for a full on asset manager position after my 1 year mark in this position?

Yeah exactly. Not having an analyst title anymore but a full on asset manager running my own portfolio

I didn't run my own portfolio until I was an associate. You will probably find it is the same at most places.

Are you up for promotion to associate this year? Have you spoken to your bosses about your career growth?

I need to talk to them about it. I will look to speak after my 6 month mark to see my strengths and weaknesses etc
