I'm selling a smaller property and wanted to check how much NYC brokers are charging for a $5-10mm sale. We are looking at $7mm for a smaller multifamily building. They are "quoting" us 6%
To contrast we have contracts with other brokers for 3% for a $14mm disposition, and 1% for a much bigger deal.
you can probably get it down to 3-4% on a $7M disposition. Are you using top tier shops?
