What's your comp if you don't mind? I would love a lunch and dinner stipend, only getting dinner atm....If you get both, at that point your main daily cost would be your commute into work (if you don't wfh) and just housing costs (rent/ mortgage). No joke, lunch stipends are huge imo.

My office has some nice perks. We have white fluorescent lighting installed. We have these individual office cubes with a grey colored wall separating me and other employees. I forgot the name of what the cube is called but we can all look into each other's offices just by standing up. Our breakroom is well stocked with high quality folgers coffee. They have these transportation pods which also transport us from floor to floor without having to use stairs. We also all have office chairs that are ergonomically efficient and looks like they were designed by Quasimodo. Our kitchen fridge is also well stocked with various unique meals in all sorts of different lunchboxes. One day I had chinese, another day I had pizza. I am not sure why there are employee names on the lunchboxes but oh well. Oh and my favorite is the microwaving unit that heats food and it looks like it was cleaned once during the Reagan administration.

My firm covers your phone bill if you want, but that's literally the only benefit like the ones you've described. I was informed this year that they now are declining to pay for meals at the office if working late...guess who won't be working late at the office anymore?

I'm at a boutique which doesn't really have policies or explicit perks. We do have a semi-formal request system that no-one uses.

I'm slowly upping the stakes of my requests. Started with a few ad hoc lunches for the floor, approved. Upgrade to max ram for my work laptop, approved. Poker, beer and pizza night, approved. Craft beers on the weekly office order, approved. Last month I put a proposal for monthly catered lunches for the floor and that went through. The other week I asked for an oven and a sandwich grill for the kitchen, approved.

Taking suggestions on what I should try next.
