Old firm working with New firm - what to share about internal practices?
Two boutique developers working together. You used to work at the first, now you’re at the second. Curious if they decide to work together how much do you share about internal workings with your current firm. Is the example below something you as say an associate would share with your direct boss (a principal) one on one not in an open meeting? Or is that too far because it may be questionable from a legal perspective amd they may think when this kid leaves he’ll share what we do here? Thoughts are if new firm says hey you used to work there whats it like, how do they run their projects etc?
Ex: where extra costs may be on dev projects/things to watch out for.
Why would you not…especially if it’s scummy practices like fattening costs unnecessarily. If I was your current employer and found out you let shit your old firm did slide in this new deal I’d be furious and look at you as useless to me for complete lack of loyalty.
