Preqin vs PERE vs IREI FundTracker vs ???

I have used Preqin in the past but curious what else is out there.

I'm aware of PERE and IREI (FundTracker) having GP/LP databases.

Does anyone else have a tip on other competitors to check out?

They have info on funds that raises money and are looking to deploy. Target property types, deal sizes, etc. so they are good if ur a GP looking to find LPs. At least that’s the way I think of them. Maybe there’s more? Seems like they kindof just grab the Form D data.

Could get a lot of the data here if u wanna cold call and dig up equity guys...

I might make a separate thread for this but figured I’d ask here - are these services that track which REPE funds are raising money? My boss has offered to intro me to funds but I’d like to have a better idea of who is actively raising money / investing vs asset managing and trying to stay afloat. Are these services a good place to start?

I’m aware of the PERE 100 but that’s trailing 3 years so not sure if that’s recent enough.
