SA opportunities - UBS vs Barings

Hi,

I currently have to opportunities to choose between. An asset management role w/ UBS realty investors or with the debt fund at Barings. Could anyone speak to the reputation of either of these firms a bit further? Which one also may better lead to a role in Acquisitions FT next year?

Yeah I agree with this. If I had to rank the opportunities I'd say: 1) UBS acquisitions 2) Barings debt fund 3) UBS asset management

If there's potential to get a FT offer into UBS acquisitions from the SA stint in AM, might be worth looking into further, but if not, I'd personally go for the Barings gig as the experience itself will probably be more transferable to different things you'd want to get into later on. But both are good opportunities.

Both firms are well respected as far as the brand names on the CV go.
