Underwriter for top CRE Lender

Could anyone share their experience working in underwriting for a top 5 CRE Lender in a major market?

There seems to be mixed reviews on here for underwriting agency deals at a CRE Lender so any insight on day to day, comp, exit ops would be great. For reference, I am currently in a more back office asset management role and trying to figure out if making the move to underwriting at a larger bank makes sense.
