What makes a successful manager in RE

I have been working as analyst in real estate development and advisory for 08 years. I have just been offered a managerial role in KPMG MENA Real Estate & Infrastructure consultancy. Though I have sound knowledge and a successful track record of working on big deals as a remote employee, I feel am terrible at managing people.

How did you people manage the stress of being a new manager and how an introvert can learn to delegate work to the junior staff that involves great details and accuracy.

My core work would involve HBUs and deals financial modeling, would appreciate the advice for being a good manager within the domain.
