Best Job Title To Put on Resume for a long-term intern?
I graduated this past fall semester and am applying to a few MSF programs to have another year to recruit for full-time IB roles.
I'm currently working on my resume for my applications and wanted to ask what title would be appropriate for me to use in my case.
I have been interning at a boutique IB since May, where I was given the title of “summer analyst” I Did an excellent job and was given an extension during my last semester in college until May of this year. The firm consists of 10 people, consisting of only senior bankers and outside advisors, and NO traditional analysts or associates.
I have been working 50-70 hours a week and given legit work such as modeling, deal sourcing, creating pitch decks, and comps work. My seniors also refer to me as their analyst when emailing clients and investors.
Not to sound like a noob/moron, but would it be appropriate for me to use the title “analyst” on my resume? Curious since I think this will be a plus in my MSF applications.
