Kill my lateral resume

Have been trying to lateral, can't even land an initial phone screening. Welcome any criticisms!

Goal is IBD (I'll take any group I can get at any shop).

Thanks a lot.

Hello from a fellow rower! The first thing that jumps out at me is your lack of results. Your bullets are very standard and don't really add anything to your specific story -- they make you look like everyone else, which gets your resume tossed aside during the initial screen. Let's look at an example ...

"Competed in biweekly regattas in fall season and weekly regattas in spring season"

Did you compete at Henley? Did you win any prizes/honors? What was your role in helping your teammates succeed at these regattas? Did you balance difficult classes and an on-campus job while still being a rowing champion? Talk about things like this in all of your bullets -- mention the specific event, your role in it, and how it contributed to the positive end result. Once you do that for all your bullets, we can get more specific.
